Children's Scholarship Fund

Consider funding a scholarship ($350), or partial scholarship, for a child in the Alexandria Choral Society Children's Chorus.

Over the eight-year history of the group we have able to offer scholarships to families in financial need so their children may enjoy the experience of a superb choral experience. Each year the need has grown, as has our number of funded scholarships--from 5 to 13 in the 2004-2005 season.

ACS would like to attract more choristers from diverse backgrounds from the Alexandria area and being able to offer some scholarships will make this more possible. Parents will apply for the available scholarships in September, following the orientation session at the beginning of the school year.

If you or your employer, work colleague or friend is interested in offering an ACS Children's Chorus scholarship, use our secure webpage and indicate "Children's Chorus Scholarship" when you complete the form or download and mail the donation/order form (pdf file). All donors will be mentioned in our concert programs either by name or as "Anonymous." Scholarship payments may be made in total or in installments.
